TOURNAMENT RULES

Games will be played in two 20 minute halves with running clock.
Unless there is a 20 point spread or more the clock will stop:
1. In the last 2 minutes of the second half.
2. In the last 1 minute of any overtime.

Overtime will be 2 minutes with a jump ball to start each. Clock stops in the last 1 minute. A second overtime will be "sudden death" (first team to score).

No pressing by any team leading by 20 points or more.

Each team will have two (2) 30 second time outs per half for a total of four (4) per game. One additional time out will be awarded to each team per overtime period.

1. Head to Head Matchups
2. Margin of Victory in all pool games
3. Points allowed in all pool games
4. Coin Toss
Note: Note: In the event of a tie-breaker between more than 2 teams, Scenario #1 will no longer apply. We will then use scenarios #2, #3, & #4 to break the tie.
"Round Robin": In a division where teams play at least 3 games against all other teams in the division, there will not be a separate Championship game. A Champion will be determined by the best overall record and then the Tie-breaking scenarios #2, #3, & #4 would be used to break the tie.

One Day Shootouts each with a 2-3 game guarantee. Use Win/Loss Record and a Victory Point System for Wins/Losses & Forfeits. Wins= +1 / Loss= 0 / Forfeit= -1

All divisions will play on a 10’ basket

Each team will provide a representative to assist with running the clock or keeping the scorebook. This person shall remain neutral and respectful to teams, officials and coaches during all games. Teams will receive one (1) point for a Win, zero (0) points for a loss and a negative (-1) point for a forfeit. The team’s opponent that forfeited will receive one (1) point for the Win.
Each team must have an adult coach on the bench. The coach is responsible for correctly filling out the score sheet for each game. This should include last name and uniform number of each player.

No player is eligible to play on more than 1 team in the same division. Any game with an ineligible player is subject to forfeiture.

Any time a team is not present at game time, the game may be forfeited at the discretion of the tournament manager or tournament representative. Forfeits are recorded as (-1) points in the standings.

Any time a coach or player is ejected for any reason the ejected party is automatically subject to a one game suspension without written exception from the tournament manager or tournament representative. If the ejection was due to any physical action or threat of any kind this exception will not be given. In certain instances, coaches, teams and players may be banned for all future events.
