Youth Basketball Tournaments in Kansas City

Welcome to the Livin' the Dream Tournament Series, where competitive youth basketball comes to life in Kansas City. Whether you're a coach, player, or parent, our tournaments provide the perfect platform for boys and girls to showcase their skills and compete at the highest level. Our winter season tournaments are for boys in grades 3-6 and girls in grades 5-6. We offer tournaments for 3rd--12th grades during the spring/summer season.

  • REGULAR SEASON

    Six (6) One-Day Shootouts with a 2-3 game guarantee.

    SEASON FINALE

    Top Six (6) Teams from Regular season Standings will advance to the Series Finale to compete for the Championship. Series Finale is a 3-game guarantee. Teams will qualify Based on highest number of Points in the Standings & their individual Win/Loss records

    Note: Teams must compete in at least 3 sessions to be eligible for bracket play

    Wins = +1

    Loss = 0

    Forfeit = -1

    Note: Certain situations may warrant a younger team being asked to play in a higher age division due to the number of teams on any given weekend. These Teams will receive +0.5 points for competing against older age groups (Ex. 3rd Grade playing in 4th Grade division will receive +0.5 points for each game played)

    4 SESSIONS: $520

    2-3 TEAMS: $10 off per team

    4+ TEAMS: $20 off per team

    *Limit 6 teams in each division. Multiple divisions may be offered for certain age groups.

  • Tournament Registration Deadline will be Tuesday evening the week of each tournament.

    Tournament schedules will be released Wednesday the week of each tournament.

Tournaments for Boys and Girls

At Livin' the Dream, we organize youth basketball tournaments that cater to both boys' (grades 3rd-12th) and girls' (grades 5th-8th) teams. Our tournaments offer an opportunity for athletes to develop their talents, build teamwork, and compete against other talented teams from Kansas City and surrounding areas.

For over 23 years, LTD has helped thousands of youth and adult athletes, coaches, officials, and fans through basketball. We have run basketball camps and played against professional teams in seven countries. This gives our players international experience and chances to grow. Many of our athletes have gone on to play at higher levels, showing the strength of our training programs.

In the U.S. and other countries, LTD has built competitive youth teams and top leagues. We help players grow and aim for excellence in basketball. Our commitment goes beyond the game. We use sports to build goodwill and help people discover God's purpose for their lives.

About Our Founder and CEO, Brad Mann

Brad Mann is the founder of Livin' The Dream, Inc. He has a deep history in basketball and has played at all levels. In high school, he was a four-year Varsity letter winner and a McDonald's All-American nominee. He set school records in points, rebounds, and blocks, and he still holds the Kansas all-time record for career rebounds. Brad played NCAA Division I basketball for three years at the University of Missouri-Kansas City before transferring to Missouri Southern State University. There, he helped lead his team to the NCAA Division II Final Four with the best record in NCAA Division II.

After college, Brad played internationally with Athletes In Action against top professional teams. He later played professionally for the Fargo Beez and the Salina Rattlers in the International Basketball Association (IBA).

Brad is a USA Certified Youth Basketball Coach and an ordained minister. He worked at Westside Family Church for over 10 years, leading a satellite location with over 1,000 people and managing the WFC Prison Ministry. Brad has a degree in Communications and manages the daily operations of Livin' The Dream. His strong background in basketball and ministry helps him lead LTD in its mission to inspire and change lives through the game.
